Intrinsic Imaging Awarded Phase II Clinical Trial for Cardiovascular Disease

Intrinsic Imaging, an FDA audited, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified medical imaging core lab specializing in providing imaging core lab services for clinical trials, announced today that it has been awarded an international Phase II clinical trial to assess cardiac safety and tolerability of a novel drug.

Throughout this trial, Intrinsic Imaging will provide comprehensive imaging core lab services including specialized radiologic review and analysis of images collected using Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Cardiac MRI).

Cardiac MRI enables the assessment of key functional and morphological features of the cardiovascular system. Intrinsic Imaging’s cardiovascular team are experts in using Cardiac MRI to assess cardiac function, deposition diseases, cardiomyopathies, pericardial disease, valvular heart disease, congenital heart disease and diseases of the aorta and great vessels.

Intrinsic Imaging has extensive experience in cardiovascular disease. The team includes cardiologists board certified in echocardiography, and board-certified radiologists with multi-modality expertise. In addition to Cardiac MRI, the team has expertise in ultrasound, nuclear imaging, positron emission tomography (PET), invasive angiography and computed tomography (CT) including novel techniques such as Adenosine Stress MRI.
